Thanks, we get a nice breeze and bring plenty of water. It is hot but it is hot in Illinois as well, funny that everyone here is concerned about us and the heat as if we were from Alaska :lol:

A ThermaCell is for the mosquitos. I use one when I hunt and it's a lifsaver for sure.

Dan, what do you think, 18 or 27 holes today?

Weather seems to be shaping up, a bit cool this morning. I almost had to cover my small garden plot because of frost. Probably will have to cover tonight for sure.

Morning all.

Chas - looking forward to some scanned articles on Dave.

Last day of work for me, then 4 days of fishing with my father and brother way up north in Hayward, Wisconsin. Crappie are a sure thing, bass and walleye strong possibilities, and a musky if someone gets lucky. We stay at a place with primitive cabins, no computer or phone for next 4 days (can't get cellphone in many spots up there).

sounds like fun Brad.. locked away with no communication to the outside world for 4 days of fishing. take the panfish and muskie/walleye out of the equation and it would definately be my kind of trip!

It's going to be an interesting scanning project. Some of the publications from the 60s were friggin huge!
I'm going to have to take the lid off my scanner...lol
It was really cool/interesting to see how much coverage he got in his day, and after his career.
