Very close game. The Cowboys really struggled against the pass in the 2nd half and it looked more like a matter of technique and position than ability. Ball and Newman could have played the ball better and Elam should have been in better position so he didn't have to grab Fasano. Jenkins return to the secondary and the extra time off for Sensabagh should really help the defense. Even w/ these problems the defense still forced field goals rather than TD's, always a good thing.

Ware played well showed why he should be the DPOY.

Romo rebounded from his two INT's and Murray came on strong when the Cowboys needed him the most.

I'll try and find the positives :

Bailey has shown he is clutch yet again. The Cowboys finally have their franchise kicker.

Romo didn't fall victim to quicksand after the terrible start.

The Cowboys managed to play a full 60 minutes and come away with the win, rather than come up short or turn it over like we had seen many times in the past.

Laurent Robinson > Dez Bryant (when Romo is QB, anyway)

The Cowboys' defensive backs should not be allowed any Thanksgiving Meal of ANY kind...

Laurent Robinson is crazy good in this system. I wonder how long it will be until Dez starts to complain about how many targets he receives compared to Robinson. It's going to get worse for Dez once Austin comes back.

WR is pretty well set. I haven't really paid attention to the upcoming class to know if the players match up with the needs, but secondary is definitely something that needs improved.

Too early to tell for sure, but it looks like a weak Class for Safety, which I've been waiting for them to draft since 2007 or so.

And I still am ticked that Dallas either won too many/didn't trade up for Patrick Peterson...

Turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Smith has been fantastic for a rookie OT.

Agreed on both positions. When the Cowboys have struggled it has been w/ coverage and the pass rush.

What do you guys think about the draft this year (very early, I know)? Should we go WR, Secondary, DL, or OL, or another position?

DB
DL
ILB, depending on Carter's development
OLB, depending on Spencer's return
C, if the Cowboys want get bigger and more physical at the position
OL depth
QB

Jenkins is going to try and practice Wednesday and Fiamata was seen riding an excercise bike. McBriar said he his finally pain free and might return to holding in a few weeks. Austin will probably be out against the Cards.

What I think will happen down the Stretch:

Week 13: Dallas def. Arizona, NYG lose to GB. NY 2 games back.

Week 14: Dallas def. NYG. 3 games back.

Week 15: Dallas def. TB, NYG def. Wash. With NY still 3 back, Dallas Clinches Division.

Week 16: Dallas def. Phi, NYG lose to NYJ.

Week 17 game then irrelevant and NYG miss Playoffs.

Dallas hosts Chicago, Detroit or Atlanta in First Round and wins. 8-)

With a little bit of Luck, the Pokes could also catch NO or ATL, whoever wins the South for the #3 seed, which IMO is HUGE this year.

You get the Niners instead of the Pack in the 2nd Round, and that gives you one more Week to hope Rodgers gets hurt...

Either way, this is a lot of conjecture from a team that has looked mediocore at times lately, but the Schedule is friendly. Games with Philly, TB and the Gents that looked rough early on this season now seem easier...

I'm glad the Cards have been playing well b/c it puts pressure on the Cowboys and helps them avoid a trap game.

Jerry Jones is saying Austin might be able to play this week.

If Austin can go this week, I hope they use him sparingly.Laurent Robinson has been a great #1, and Dez is a fine #2 as usual. Yeah, I'm saying it... Robinson > Bryant :o . I'd hate to see them just play him if it's not needed. If Robinson/Bryant can carry the load, leave Austin watch from the sidelines. No need to risk aggravating the injury if he's not needed.

C'mon B. I think all that motorcycle exhaust is getting to you!

That's like saying RG3 is better than Andrew Luck... 8-)

Well said. Let him rest and get another week off if he needs it b/c Robinson and Bryant have been fine.
