I'm not sure the penalties would of made a difference but those calls or lack there of were terrible. Maybe Wade is on a mission this week and will be up everyone's backside. I heard Jimmy Johnson made it very uncomfortable when the Cowboys lost so maybe Wade needs to take this approach rather than always being a player's coach.

I read about a time when he threatened to throw guys off the team flight...in mid-air. They were all relaxing, playing cards, etc. and he went nuts, even on Norton and Irvin.

Maybe he could pull off a huge deal for a ton of draft picks for Roy Williams like he did with Herschel Walker...

 Nice.

I have been one of the few Williams supporters but if he was on Walker's level he'd be lighting teams up on a weekly basis and there would be no need to trade him.

Big game for the Cowboys this weekend. I hope they come out strong and establish the running game.

Maybe you forgot the offensive co-ordinator is Jason Garrett.

True but Jerry wants to the team run the ball more.

Only if the police are chasing them.

As does Wade. He said "it can't happen again" (like last week, where they forced the ball in the air too much).

I really I expect to the see the run featured this week and the passing game used when the run has been established.

One thing I must say is that I'm happy with how the offense was balanced. 30 runs to 27 passing attempts.

Barber and Jones averaged 5 ypc, and put up a combined 150 yards.

I wouldn't write this up as a bad game, as the Redskins do have a good pass defense. If the Cowboys can continue running the ball like this, they'll be fine. Romo just has to play smart and be more accurate.

And that's been the problem the last few weeks. I'd love to know how Romo losses his accuracy for weeks at a time.

IMO its Garrett and Romo. Garrett did a better job this week but Romo struggled. When Romo is on the offense is usually doing well.

LaRon Landry calls Roy Williams scared.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... ms-scared/

Roy Williams short-armed so many passes against the Redskins Sunday, Fox actually ran a lowlights package of his afternoon. (That's more embarrassing than getting pantsed.)

Lurking in the foreground of Williams' weak efforts was Redskins safety LaRon Landry. Asked what he thought about Williams by the Redskins website, Landry said the Cowboys receiver looked "scared."

"Yeah. I know he was. Y'all can quote it, too," Landry said Monday. "Y'all can tell him right now, tell him I'm sayin' it. I can say it right now: yeah, he was scared, I think. I told him he was scared."

Williams' reaction to Landry wasn't shocking. He had none. He didn't have any catches in the game either. Cowboys offensive coordinator may not want to bother sending Williams over the middle any more.

"Certain routes he ran, you could tell he didn't want any part of it," Landry said.

Either Roy responds with better play on the field or Crayton takes his job. If Williams doesn't step-up he has no worth to the Cowboys.

Ummmm. Roy got one catchable ball for Romo, and it was in the very same spot that caused his rib injury, I don't blame him for being a little skittish.
