Looking thru Cowboys FAs, by dumping most of 'em and cutting Newman (not sure I agree with that one), they'll still be only $2M under the new cap and that's probably not enough to get a big name guy.

They can re-do some long-term contracts, which will help.

And I literally chuckled out loud when I saw that Sensabaugh said he wasn't getting enough respect in Dallas and that he wanted to test the FA waters. ::facepalm::

There's a big contract they can dump. The guy's name rhymes with Woy Rilliams. Not sure of the penalties that imposes on the cap limit though.

#11's contract isn't too bad for this year, but for some reason, I've read that it'll kill them next year. :?

Leonard Davis, Roy Williams, Marion Barber III, and Kris Brown were cut by Dallas. Columbo's future with the club is unknown.

I'll miss the days of Marion the Barbarian but he has obviously lost a step or two in the last couple of years

I really hope Columbo is released, he can no longer be a starter.

I really hope the Cowboys start to make some moves. Signing Free was smart but they have huge holes at Safety and DL.

One of the biggest needs for the Cowboys is the safety positions. I don't know who is still out there but we definitely need a player who can start and make an impact. Im hoping Newman and Jenkins can get back to the form they had in 2009.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only new players to the Cowboys are the rookie class. They are the same team as last season minus nine players with a few new rookies. Well hopefully keeping the roster basically the same leads to the same monumental success they had last season. ::facepalm::

Hopefully Jerry pulls off a few moves in the next few days.

I somewhat feel the same way but they cut a lot of dead weight in Williams, Davis, and Columbo. If they find a solid RG the OL will be improved and the offense should have an easier time moving the ball. On defense a healthy Spears will up grade the DL against the run but they still need to find 2 Safeties and a pass rushing DL. WR depth could be an issue as well.

Overall I'd rather see the Cowboys spend wisely rather than over pay for average talent.

If we sure up the O-Line this team will be an offense juggernaut.

Who is the #3 receiver? Roy Williams and Sam Hurd are gone, so does it fall to Jesse Holley or somebody else?

lol @ Holley

Dwayne Harris and Ogletree make up #'s 3 and 4
Dwayne Harris hasn't earned a spot yet. He's a 6th rounder, so he's bench material until preseason.

Ogletree slipped my mind since he barely played last year. If Holley gets the shot, I think he can perform well enough to land in the #4 role.

If he fails to produce this year I'm guessing he gets cut. I had high hopes for him.

Well, did my First pre-season Wins total and was pleasantly surprised. I have the Pokes at 10 wins, which usually gets you in, even if it's as a Wild Card. It's mostly 'cuz of the easy mid-season schedule, but hey, a win is a win.

IF the safeties are better than I think (been saying this for 5+ years BTW), maybe they can get 1 or 2 more. Maybe if Vick isn't healthy, and the 'Skins are just putrid, they'll help too.

I'm not at all happy with the off-season moves, but that schedule will help and the progression of the O-Line and WRs should be good too.

i have us going 11-5. we lose to the Jets, Eagles once, giants once, (both away), Patriots, and Tampa Bay.

i think Felix finally gets 1,000 yds in a season, and Miller and Murray compliment him nicely (yes, Choice will be cut/traded)

I don't see Jones playing enough games to get 1,000.
