Blah. Injury news; Felix Jones has a separated shoulder, Miles Austin hurt his hammy again

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... es-austin/

It’s a good thing Dallas pulled off a terrific comeback victory Sunday, because the news after the game wasn’t so good.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that running back Felix Jones has a separated shoulder. Wide receiver Miles Austin also pulled his hamstring again and the team fears he will be out through the team’s Week Five bye.

If Austin is out, the team needs Dez Bryant to get healthy fast. They also need DeMarco Murray and Tashard Choice to step up at running back.

After two road games to start the year, the Cowboys host the Redskins and Lions the next two weeks.

Hey guys, I didn't see the Game. How did the secondary and LBs play? Just wondering...

Overall not bad but they gave up a few 3rd down and long throws.

Costa went out with a knee injury as well.

Hopefully Newman can return this week along with Bryant.

Hopefully the team can get healthy over the bye and Austin, Scandrick, Hatcher, and the new FB return from injury. Bryant should be closer to 100% after the time off as well.

they have always been able to play with the better teams,
but they will always lose to them. tony romo cannot win, period.
and when given a lead the defense will collapse at the end.
this will never change

IMO, we outplayed the Pats. I think this loss will help us. It showed us that when healthy, we can play with the better teams

Agreed and the Cowboys should of had more than 16 points. The play calling on the drive to take the 3 point lead could have been better on 2nd and 3rd down.

Romo was fine and didn't do anything to lose the game. The defense failed to sto the Pats at the end of the game but overall they played great w/ 4 turn overs.

Hey guys, I didn't see the game (Hospital), but it sounded like Ryan came up with another good game plan for Brady, but the Offense didn't convert on their chances. That sound about right?

Easy Ed said they're now 5 for 23 scoring TDs in red zone. Lack of power RB to blame?... :?

Yep another great game plan by Ryan (starting to wonder if he'll be back next year b/c a head coaching job might be in his future).

Ware injured his back late in the game and was less than 100%.

S. Lee has some of the best hands I have seen on a LB, he makes some amazing catches.

Heard on the radio today that Dez Bryant still doesn't know the Cowboys playbook and often isn't where he should be.

Good point, they don't have a true power back.

Bruce Carter can be activivated from the PUP list this week. He should help on special teams and maybe as a situational LB.

You know, other than that short miss vs. SF, Bailey has been VERY good! :D

and McBriar is his usual HOF self...
