I want to both thank and despise DeMarco Murray.

I thank him for filling in admirably as a felix replacement/bye week fill in and despise him becaue he destroyed one of my other teams.

Sean Lee is going to try to play through his wrist injury, for surgery would end his season.

Mike Jenkins says he thinks he'll be out 2-3 weeks with his hamstring injury.

Thanks for the update. Lee with one arm is stell better than Brooking or James. Hopefully he'll be healthy after only 2 weeks.

Demarco Murray said he thinks Felix Jones is still the starter, gave him some praise, and then expressed his eagerness to continue contributing. It's great to see how he's humble, motivated, and saying all the right things. He seems like a great guy to have on the team, and is a breath of fresh air compared to that other young [strike:17oojjf3]diva[/strike:17oojjf3] player, Dez.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... s-starter/

DeMarco Murray’s three-game stretch as the Cowboys’ No. 1 running back has yielded 466 yards — the best total of any three-game stretch in franchise history. And yet Murray still doesn’t think he’s on top of the depth chart.

Instead, Murray says that Felix Jones, who has missed the last three games with a sprained ankle and has been ruled out for Sunday, will return to the starting lineup when he’s healthy.

“From my understanding, I think he’s still the starter,” Murray told the Dallas Morning News. “He’s a great running back, and he was doing a great job before he went down. I’m expecting him to come back in and do what he’s been doing, which is great, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to continue to compete and try to help out as much as I can.”

Murray added that “I know my role,” and it’s clear that he wants to avoid saying anything that would result in dissension within the Cowboys’ locker room. Good for him for that.

But the truth is, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett would be nuts to reduce Murray’s role in the offense. Murray has been sensational over the last three weeks, and Jones is the one who’s going to need to get accustomed to a different place in the Cowboys’ offense.

Mercifully, the David Buehler saga has ended, at least for 2011, with him being placed on IR.

But, unless Bailey absolutely melts down like Folk did, Buehler will not be here next season.

Tough game for the Cowoys tomorrow.
Sure was. I was admittedly worried going into today.

I never saw a game like this one. The OL had their best game of the year.

Couldn't ask for more. All three divisional rivals and Lions and Falcons lost...

I didn't see it. How did Lee play with the Cast on?

Jerry Jones isn't happy with the winning that's going on. He said that as soon as Felix can play, it will be a community running back scheme. Moron.

He played pretty well and the cast did not limit him too much.

I am very curious to see how the Cowboys approach these next few games. Anyone of them could be a trap game.

I think Garrett will keep them sharp.

Plus, the Dolphins can't score enough, are weak against the Pass and won't have Leon Lett out there helping them this time.

And the Redskins and Cardinals couldn't score even if you cut the field in Half.

As you may have noticed, I'm usually a worrier but I really think they can make a good run and Lock up the Division by beating Philly, making the second Giants game irrelevant... :D

Looks like Jones might be returning this week. Hopefully he'll be used in a limited role as a returner and maybe in the screen game.

Felix Jones was a weapon when he wasnt the featured back. If you can get him 10 or so touches, he can probably return to that form. The cowboys seem to be adding parts to their offense and this will be another one teams need to defend.
