When I saw Andrew's post the other day about what Gyspsy Queen wax was going for I was kind of stunned. So I was doing some research on what's driving those prices. It seems Ginter-like to me.

Definitely seems like Ginter's little brother. I personally haven't opened any of this but will open a couple of boxes of Ginter. In my opinion, GQ prices will come down, probably as soon as Bowman comes out.

All the different versions of mini cards. Leather ones are really blowing up serial #10. The stamp cards are really well done. Nice auto checklist. Nice base cards. The mini auto relic cards are really cool. Also normal size relics have autos. Then 1/1 art relic cards. Lots of 1/1 plates with both regular cards and mini cards having them. A lot of bang for your buck in it. Also very tough to find. I just want some retail blasters and haven't seen any yet.

It is very Ginter like, but this is more for baseball fans. Almost all cards are baseball related in Gypsy. From what I've seen Gypsy is better than what Ginter has been the last couple of years.

There's simply not enough product variety by baseball. I love Topps but they're the only ones making baseball right now (licensed that is).

The framed bronzes are card numbers 1 to 100
Each is numbered to 999
There are 6 per box.
There are 10 boxes per case.

Do the math - 1665 cases total - that ain't many!

Baseballcardpedia.com gives an estimate of 1350 hobby cases. However, their GQ article is riddled with inaccuracies; they list the framed paper /999 as being a complete set parallel, and they still list the one-per-pack gold parallels, which it appears do not actually exist.

Yeah, Those are sweet cards. I know Sandberg has an auto in and I think few other HOF.

Bernie Williams relic auto is just sick.

Also looks like retail is not easy to find either. Probably limited as well.
