My grandpa grew up in Pennsylvania, then moved to West Virginia. His uncle used to work as a trainman and actually got to know Honus Wagner well. Wagner had a dry goods store after he retired and used to talk with him at the end of the days run.

very cool. Wagner also worked as a baseball and basketball coach at Carnegie Tech which is now Carnegie Mellon University (aka my work :mrgreen: ).

Been out of the hobby (including online at any point) for the last 6 months so I'm still catching up on news and new card releases. see griff has signed with topps. should give me some great new cards to run after.. or away from.

Michael - they are /75, but they were only 1/case in 2010 upper deck which has gone largely unbusted, so only a few of each player has actually sold.

Good catch, I meant can't. Auction starting at $79.99 I just know it is going to go in the $100+ range and I can't shell that out right now. I am still recovering from a car repair.

1 Exquisite per case in 2010; many 2010 products were not released. Serial number might be 75 but the true print run is far lower since they were to be inserted throughout 2010.
