Good morning guys. I hope everyone has a great day.

I hope everyone remembered to set their clocks back.

There are a couple of auctions ending today that I might take a stab at. The weekend has been a little busier than anticipated, but today is going to be a nice, relaxing day. Crystal and I are finally going to go see Paranormal Activity today. We've been wanting to go since Friday, but we didn't have time until today. I hope it's good. Then Crystal wants to go to Wal-Mart and get some candy because the Halloween candy is marked 50% off.

No Bengals game today, so good luck to everyone except the Ravens and Browns. :D

Morning Joe! Hope you enjoy the movie, I would love to see it in the theater but it probably won't happen. Let us know how it was :D

Good morning.

So, The Hangover does something like 300 million at the box office, and the first 11 people at the party I was at last night hadn't seen it, so my costume made no sense to them.
Also, not nearly enough female costumes that would be described as "Sexy (fill in the blank)". Disappointing...

I've been wanting to see it too but I just haven't made it to the theatre yet. I also want to see The Fourth Kind that comes out this coming weekend.

Oh yeah? I missed that.
You have a link?[/quote:2eo8wfr2]

He was going to list it for $300, I looked at closings and suggested him to go to $400.

Wow, that absolutely shocks me. Well done Mr. London! Morning fellas..... yesterday about did me in. I'm Mr. Mom and Dad since the wife is officially on bedrest waiting for the baby to come. I'll never divorce my wife, don't think I could handle being a single parent. ;) I don't know how people do it.

In case anyone is interested made a thread on my pickups at the shop yest and trades w/ a friend:

Nice pickups Steve. Did you decide to pass on the quad or get out bid? Just curious. Seems like a better price for it.

Edit: wow, found a treasure trove of Wake cards in Beckett marketplace. Holy cannoli.

Thanks guys, its nothing spectacular, but better than what I traded......I think. :?

Dave- I dunno, it ended reasonably I guess. I just can't bring myself to pay the premium those cards usually get anymore. Could have had it for $500 a few weeks ago from gunther14 and passed. That's a lot of money for autos of guys that I already have. Great card, just too much for me.

Steve- I hear ya. And I'm finding that out the hard way trying to sell some of them and hoping to just break even. I paid well above the premium on many many cards. ::facepalm::

George- did that R-B21 order get placed? I owe you some money for the Wake card.

I definitely owe you BIG for your excellent advice, George!

And, he paid this morning!

So, for an investment of about $30, I reeled in over $300!

Going to use a lot of the money to buy Chris a nice birthday gift next week. She deserves a million dollar gift for putting up with me for the last nine years! :)

I replied to their email stating we wanted the cards and I have not heard back yet. I will try to re-email them again today.

We had a pretty lowkey Halloween.

First we went up to the wilds of Los Angeles and stopped by Galco's Soda Pop Stop. If you haven't heard of this place, they sell all the old brands of soda (and some new ones) in one place. Aisles and aisles of glass bottles of soda. You can buy it by the case or individual bottle. Cool to see all these weird brands in old fashioned bottles, brands that I thought had been discontinued years ago.

Then we stopped by a mystery book shop in Westwood. There was a book signing by John Connolly, so we were able to meet him and each get a signed copy of his latest book.

Ate at California Pizza Kitchen and headed home.

The Evil Teenager is too old for trick or treating, so we put him to work giving out candy. He was appropriately surly and sullen at the tragic circumstances of his life.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday. :)

Tons of action on the Kell plates from this years Triple Threads. Looks like I'll be leaning more limits on the collection.

What is his favorite kind of candy?

I loved Snickers the most as a kid.
