Tons of action on the Kell plates from this years Triple Threads. Looks like I'll be leaning more limits on the collection.

Glad you read everyone had a good Halloween. Max said he will share is candy with us since he got a lot of it. :o

Ah, ring pops!

Is that what you gave out or what they like the best of what they got? ($1 prize to anyone who can diagram that last sentence of mine. )

You can call me Milton
Andrew- He loves Smarties.

George- Yeah. I think if I get out bit on what I'm winning I'll let them go for sure. I'll focus on the "base" autos and the 2008's.

How was C-Monsters first Halloween? You take her out to a few houses to get candy?

We took Max to a few houses here in the neighborhood before we went to our friends house.
Our one neighbor made a goodie bag loaded with all kinds of stuff just for him. ::facepalm::

Dave (w)- I will definitely let you know how the movie is. The first showing isn't until 2:30, so it's going to be a little while.

I have been continuing to work on scanning my Griffey collection. While Bruce could show everyone what a Griffey collection is supposed to look like, I finished scanning 1998. I haven't uploaded past 1989 into my bucket yet, but I have been scanning. Thank you to Dave and Charlie for suggesting to use my scanners cropping tool because it is so much easier and faster than photobuckets. Anyway, I thought I would share a couple of my 1998 cards considering all of the posts lately. Plus I was hoping maybe Mr. Calfas could help me with a card since he has a vast knowledge of 90's cards.

From the lead in, I’m sure you guys know what’s first.

1998 Donruss Crusade Green 043/250 and Purple 044/100

1998 Select Five Star Bonus 09/50 and 1998 Select Jersey Number

The Five Star Bonus isn’t pink like that. I wish scanners didn’t hate reflective cards like that. I have 2 of them and I would love to have more. They are sweet cards.

Anywho, my questions for Mr. Calfas, or anyone else who may be able to help. The Five Star Bonus are serial numbered on the back. Were they packed out? I have read that they were backdoored. Also, on the Jersey Number. It is not serial numbered on the back and from what I have read they were supposed to be serial numbered to the players jersey name, so in Griffey’s case 24. Were these also backdoored and are there 24 of them out there or maybe potentially more? Thanks.

I don't post much over there, but I've been able to get some nice trades done. trying to make my biggest trade yet, but the site just doesn't seem to want to let me get it done. I get tthis deal done, and the one I'm working on with Tonsofcommons, and I'll have pretty close to 3,000 different Piazza's. :D

The only time I ever return to Beckett is to occasionally check the marketplace for some singles. (Single cards, not people  ).

Didn't know the boards were still going on there. :)

Dave (w)- Thanks brother! Glad the boys had a good time last night.

George- Any help on the 1998 Selects? You know a considerable amount more about 90's cards than I do. I'm not ignorant or anything, but everything I have read led me to the conclusions I have. I figured that you may be able to shed more light on the matter. Thanks.

Hey Joe, how's it going?

Was going through some old binders and found my Jeff Blake collection! Did you/do you collect Jeff still?

Good Luck Art. That's a great number!!
By the end of this week, I'll finally surpass 1800 Cal's and I'm THRILLED with that!
1800 cards, $28K (with about 40 that don't book) I'm happy. ;)

Trying to get a couple cards from TonsofCommons as well, but not going so smooth. :(
