The offer would have been at a non jacked up price ;) I took it off sale at COMC. So if you want it, drop me a PM.

If the "Rookies" Gold Refractors are serial numbered to /100 at 1:368, is it safe to assume the print run is somewhere half of that for the "Features" Gold Refractors at 1:960? I pulled the trigger on this thinking it was the super rare subset but realized after that was the "Gems" subset I was thinking of. I should stay out of the 2000's!

So does this mean this is also /100? Was looking at that earlier

2003 Topps Chrome Refractors

Silver unnumbered
Blue #/699
Gold #/449
Black #/199

Does anyone else find these very hard to come across, especially the black & silver? I'm not understanding why a card #/199 from 2003, when the glut started, is so hard to find. And the silver is even tougher somehow?

The silvers are the toughest. They were redemptions I think through the old topps ticker website (can't recall the name off the top of my head). And they only did it for series 2. I have a few including these:

Cool Chipper! Never seen one of those before. I have a pretty decent sized Maddux inventory to offer in trade, or any other players you might collect. If interested just let me know. Thanks!

Would be cooler if it was a better player, but still think it cool to own one, have seen very few

eBay seller 73xfiles had a bunch of rare 2005 Studio Portraits for sale up until yesterday. I nabbed a Helton Leaf Certified #04 /15, a Josh Beckett Estrellas #06 /10, and a Larry Walker (Cardinals) Leaf Certified #18 /20. He had a bunch more sub /20 print runs, not sure how many of them didn't sell and/or if they will re-auction them.
