Anyone else have one of these? With no serial numbering and a small embossed "Originals" stamp, these would be easy to overlook. Burbank has an Ozzie Smith listed for $219. That's the only other one I see.

Donruss Originals Embossed
Randomly inserted in packs, these 107 cards represent cards which were "bought back" by Donruss/Playoff. Each card has an "embossing" on the front which indicated that it was purchased for this product. In addition, these cards were not serial numbered so we are using the stated print runs in our checklist provided by the company. Please note that no card has a print run of more than 10 copies so no pricing is provided due to scarcity.

I have 2, a 1986 Rod Carew, and 1986 Reggie Jackson. I got them when they came out and had PSA grade them. I think the Carew is out of 4 and the Jackson is out of 6.

2000 Skybox Autographics Purple Foil...PR/50 (picked it up for less than the regular foil!).
Do you think it's a replacement? Weren't these supposed to be numbered?

I will have to go into my football stash to answer - but yes, they were #'d out of 50 on the front. I have 3 versions, the base, the /50 with stamp and the purple version NNO (and missing embossed stamp)

Fleer Fresh ink was the same way. I have seen some without serial #'s and the embossed stamp, but I haven't picked up a version yet. Regular version matches the same style of #'ing on the front as the top example.

That's awesome! That was Curt's first game used card. Just a nice simple design that works.

Nice card, Rivera is a stud.

1999-2003 were the golden years of 1/1s. They were exceedingly rare back then and pulling one was genuinely cause for celebration. 2004 Donruss DK's killed that feeling, and it hasn't been the same ever since.
