Re: What Should I do?

File a claim with PayPal and keep the card...teach the seller a lesson and maybe he won't be a clown in the future.

Re: What Should I do?

Contect the seller and tell him/her what's up. That's ALWAYS the FIRST thing you should do. Coming here for opinions is for after there is a real problem. For all we know, the seller was selling the GU and auto'd versions and mixed up the packaging. Although, the chances of you gettign the real card back if that's the case are slim.

Tissue?

I though I was a foe? No?

There are too many idiots on eBay and they don't deserve to have the quality members take their time to correct another's error.

Classy.

Indeed. Considering it had a $4.00 BIN, I doubt the seller was out to get anyone. A simple mistake was made, and I'm sure he'd appreciate getting the card back.

I'm just grumpy from dealing with some morons on eBay as well...it is just unreal how many people have no idea how to operate correctly on that site.

I just don't see the reason to have to baby sit them and waste time, money, and effort to get thier 99 cent jersey card back.

It would still be considered theft, anyway you look at it. Make yourself feel better all you want, still wrong.

Technically the claim with PayPal would be "goods not as described", I guess if the seller would send me a MO to have the 99 cent jersey card mailed back I could throw it in a PWE for him and walk it to my mailbox.

Nothing more. BTW, I have perfect feedback and would never scam anyone...I just get very sick of idiots on eBay.

This is defenitally not the way you made it seem. You asked if he sent with DC, Op stated no, you stated "File a claim with PayPal and keep the card...teach the seller a lesson and maybe he won't be a clown in the future."

I dont see anywhere in there you would have intentions on marking it "not as described" nor would you plan on sending it back. Poor form on your part.

I didn't ask if it was shipped DC, someone else did.

And it isn't poor form on my part. I just don't see the point of going out of your way to correct some idiot sellers mistake on a 99 cent jersey card.

Like I said, in that situation, I might walk the card in a PWE out to the mailbox for the seller, but nothing more.

I hope you don't lose any sleep over this thread.

If he's online, he should refund you ASAP. Make sure he gives you enough for shipping.

Sorry you thought you were opening an auto and got let down.
