I agree with a lot that has been said here. Here are a few more:
While trading trying to look through someones bucket that is full of group scans (4 or more cards). Or people who scan a card in the middle of their scanner and don't crop it down to the size of the card. If you are going to take the time to scan and post, take the time to crop.
People who carry on conversations in a post (see above). Or in the pick up thread. I love seeing what people picked up, but I don't want to have to read through 8-10 quoted messages about one pick up someone had on the first page.
People who have sigs that are really wide or long.
Members who don't see that a topic has already been posted, and people belittle the OP for it.
Thats all I can think of for now.

I and I'm sure some other on here are first time user of a message board. I was a new person on the old boards before this one came up (about 5 months). Before that I had never even thought of posting on a board or even attempted. With that said I like this thread because it gives really good insight on what people think are good and bad (mostly bad
) and I for one am all about making a message boards better. I'm one of the people that do the +1 and usually it's because when I look at a topic I get a thought thru my head and then notice someone else had the same thought and instead of repeating it will put +1. I also use the smiley quite a bit and probably just to express my expression on occasion. I also misspell and use bad punctuation but I really try and take pride in my spelling and punctuation and if its off its not because I dint try or do not want to, it's because I dint know it or don't know how. I probably do other stuff said on here and I myself will do what I can to work on my part to make the message board a better place assuming this is how a message board is supposed to run 
. Then again like I said I don't really know as I have only been on a massage board 1 and a half years 
. Hopefully more of us can take the good points of this thread and apply it to our message board life

8 pages, and these weren't mentioned, so i thought I'd pile on:
1. People who post in multiple-page threads and don't bother to read the whole discussion; thus reposting some point that has already been brought up or reagitating a situation.
2. The use of "frak," "shat," and their derivations. Look, i don't mind the substitution when you're relating a story or quote that used the actual word; but to use those words b/c you like to swear but can't seems totally pointless. It also makes you seem like you've been neutered. Bottom line: I LOVE to swear, but I know i CAN'T do it here, shouldn't do it here; and if i can't do it right, i don't want to look silly trying.
3. People who look for opinions on what they bought. These threads usually never end well WHEN: someone tells the OP that "you over-paid." The threads usually devolves into someone telling the responder "geez, do you have to be such a D-bag," the OP's feelings getting hurt, people attacking the responder for being insensitive, people sticking up for the guy, saying he's entitled to his opinion, blah, blah, blah. Too many people are too senstitive for the opinions of people here, apparently...
Now, these are things that annoy me. If i don't like something, i can ignore it; so I'm not looking to police or end these things like some dictator.
PS: after I type a post like this, it's "select all"-"ctrl+c" to ensure I can recoup it. I learned this on BMB, and I'll echo earlier posts.

I hate good weather! Makes my job boring.
The one thing I really dislike is when someone quotes a sale price of a card that is convenient to them. For instance if item A sells for $13, $12, $14, and $21 they want you to pay the $21 even if more recent sales indicate it has sold much cheaper.
