Chipper is one of my favorite players. Yes, even as a die hard Met fan, I respect him as a player
I believe he is signed for one more year until 2012
These are some of his numbers as of 2011
.304 avg
2615 hits
526 doubles
454 hrs
1561 rbi
3000 hits - needs 385
600 doubles - needs 74
500 hrs - needs 46
1700 rbi - needs 139
I believe he's a first ballot HOFer once he retires but it would be great for Chipper to play his entire career with the Braves, as well as hitting some or all of those milestones
So what milestone will he be able to reach? All? None?
He def cannot reach none after 2012, that much I know. They will be attainable with him playing at least 3 seasons, barring injuries IMHO
Thanks for the read, and would welcome your thoughts on Chipper

Disclaimer: bought a nice card of his a few days ago as I've been meaning to add a nice card of his for a while. Lol. NOT the reason why I'm posting this.
