You hit in a break? Lucky dog. I've always come up snake eyes.
It's the funniest thing but when I do player breaks for him I usually fair well. I try to pick my products but I did great with tier one last year and archives postseason autos two years back. When his stuff goes to eBay auction it's a total crap shoot, his player break prices I can usually get dirt cheap. I might get 5-8 breaks for $20 so if I only get one or two it's likely still worth it...it's a numbers game.

Not a card, but if someone is looking for a signed copy of Wakefield's biography I have one for $40 shipped. I don't have a lot into it, but shipping from me in Canada is costly.

Let me know if interested.

They are, initially I thought that were kinda flat and dull, but when I got my first one in hand I changed my mind, clean, and all the little things about them feel very purposeful. Not my favorite but I do like them.

First pickup in a while. I had passed on this card once because I thought I already had it then I lost out another. This brings me to an even 30 from 2017 post season archives, 12 1/1s. I went back through my checklist to make sure I had everything correct. There's three versions from this release that I've seen but didn't obtain.

2017 Topps Postseason Archives is really just a cruel joke for me, still finding new cards from this one. This is #31 if my counting is correct

I have another piece that I'm really excited about but I'm keeping it unopened in the garage for quarantine purposes, I'll post in a week or so.

2020 Retired series just appeared and thankfully no Garvey this year. As much as I do like adding new stuff, those are all starting to get repetitive (there are only so many Topps cards you can buyback) and many were ridiculously low print runs, 1/1s, /3, /6, etc. Good luck with the search, 15 and 16 were my years to go crazy and have not seen anything new in a long time, but still need a few I missed out on aside from the 1/1s I didn't get.

A few things to post in here, some nice things but this is one that I was crazy excited for when I saw it. Player/team collectors know what a huge pain these types of things are to track down years later. Just about every year the red Sox have a team 4x6 set released, it's usually a charity fund raiser type of thing. Tim Wakefield was included in four seasons, after hardcore collecting him for a decade I finally found the last one I need. I'm not sure why but the others I have seen multiple times. This is only the second one of this card I've seen.

It appears to be, compared to my other autos, it looks real but not even part of it for me honestly. The "Red Sox Wives" typically put this on where they sell the cards for a price and autos are extra and all that then all the money goes to charity. I have no reason to think it's autopen or fake, but again I'd have paid the same price if there was no auto on it.
For the longest time I thought I had all 4. The other one I have is something else entirely, it has the same look and border and all but it's 8x10. I thought they tried something different one year then switched back. Then I did more research.

Congrats. I am in the same boat with Garvey. I have so many of his autographs by now that getting a cool item I have wanted and it's signed, means nothing to me. I'd buy it unsigned just the same.
