Do the right thing and vote for Chipper Jones. 1st ballot HOF who is having an above average season in his final year. He should be starting of Pablo (Pablo Sandoval starting the ASG at third ahead of David Wright and Chipper Jones - are you kidding me?)

I know most of you young ones will be voting for Harper but Harper will have his AS appearances and just doesn't have the numbers despite having great numbers for being 19.

Definitely voting for Chipper. As for Sandoval starting over Wright, it just shows that the Mets did a poor job marketing the ASG voting. Doesn't help that the Mets can't draw over 20K fans per game when the Giants are selling out each game and then marketing the hell out of the ASG voting. I'm a Giants fan and I voted for Wright. In fact, I voted for him 25 times with that repeat format...

As much as I would have liked to see Harper in this game, as a baseball fan, it's gotta be Chipper in his last season and last chance to play in one of these. In my opinion, he was one of the few that made it to the top by playing the game the right way when most of the stars of his era chose to cheat.

There is no valid argument for Harper anyway you choose to look at it. He will be in a lot of All-Star games . Book it. Chipper not being in the game would be a travesty.
