At one point claimed he that there was another Tom Mur...spelled 1 letter different that was the "bad" guy. Well there is/was a collector by that name on BMB. But that person is in a totally different location. Is/was a active member and never saw any problems with that person. Unless he was scamming and having the cards sent coincidentally to places near the other Tom.

I want to clear this part up. My name is Tom Murray, and not the "TomMurry" that was banned. I started on the BMB and had to deal with a lot of issues because people thought I was him. I became a mod on a few different sites and had to deal with him there as well. I have seen all the proof and he was banned on the sites I modded on and all the rest of the sites.

8-)

the real tom's my boy!

he recently reached out to buy a pee wee reese jackie robinson dual
patch for him on ebay. He was one of the few people i never liked,
but for my usual 10% i was happy to try. after the price kept rising
i could see it was obviously being shilled, so i told him i wasnt going to bid
anymore cus of this, and he was so thankful i was looking out for him.

seems a tad ironic

That Tom Murry is a pharmacist, lawyer and state representative. Busy guy. I was shocked that anyone's name is actually spelled Murry.

That's your user name... I now remember. I rememebr when he was trying to pin everything on you. I poked around and it didn't add up. Couldn't remember your user name and thought you were a member here but not sure since I threw out all my research. Yeah, I bet you had alot of issues with a similar name. Glad it's all behind you now.

I feel your pain buddy. Not hobby related, but check out these search results when you run my name (Matthew J. Tracy): Wisconsin Circuit Court open access For the record, my birthday is 1979. I've had to explain this to various employers, including my recruiter, who forgot to run my birthday and almost contacted a cop buddy of his.

Edit: and this only goes back to 2004-ish. He's had plenty more.

Honestly I am not sure but myself like many of our fellow soldier/vets can attest those displayed would be something to be proud of but are not a lot or exsorbanant by any means.

Earlier I mentioned he was ran off a site for story telling. They called him out on his Navy story. There were other vets that called BS on his story. What he did and his housing arangement. Unsure what was true though as I dont have any military experience.

I don't know the Navy ribbons that well, but if there are only 8 on the rack, he either cherry picked the best, or there's not much to it. I suppose a Navy guy would know best.

He's in many groups on Facebook, it's not very hard to spot him.

If it was up to me I'd ban you from the internet.

Unless of course, you've made things right.

That was my post after he switched his user name back in August.
Those were 3 of the addresses he had used at one time or another.

Disclaimer: It's hard to distinguish the ribbons due to the image size/quality, and I'm slightly color-blind.

However, I am unfamiliar with a military award that looks like the one on the top right (as pictured), other than the Soldier's Medal (which is a U.S. Army award, worn one step in precedence above the bronze star): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldier's_Medal

That might make the one on the top left the Navy Cross, which is one step in precedence below the Medal of Honor: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navy_Cross.

Strange. When I was doing my Christmas packs project last year he PM'd me a couple of times, asked for my address a couple of times and promised to send a bunch of packs. Never got them. Not out anything, just felt strange that somebody would promise something like that twice and not deliver.

Wow, it's finally happened. I'm now one of the lucky ones to actually get all my money back after getting screwed by him over 3 years ago on here. Once I saw his name on here again I contacted the Mods and they helped getting him to make it right and it finally happened. The last thread that went on a couple of months ago about him forced the issue and he finally paid back the rest, but it's taken 3 1/2 years in all.
