I dont know about just buying it to put it in your product. Seems kinda dumb to me if that is the idea. Stras already has chase cards and they are all in Topps products, no need to buy this just to spice up yours, especially when there are 11 other ones out there that can be had.

Agreed. This whole "put cards from other products in my product" is getting repetitive. It isn't original and I think you're tarnishing your name.

Whatever makes money I guess.

Funny you say this, I recieved over 50 emails from people who bought Legends of The Diamond and wanted to open a product where they could pull Cup Crosby, Exquisite Lebron, Big Superfractors,etc....

This product isnt for all, but it is definately a high stakes pack opening experience. Its the cheapest pack to pull a $12,500 Lebron (exquisite 03-4 is $2500-3000 per pack!)
With that being said, if dealers blowing up the fax and phone trying to order the product is bad, I was born to be bad!

We have plenty of original (licensed) items coming in mid/late 2010 including the some major bombshells!
BG

Funny you answer that, because I've received over 51 emails from people telling me how cool I am and how much they agree with me. For every 50 emails you had, I'm sure there's tons more who feel the way I do. You've basically done exactly what TriStar Hidden Treasures did except with higher-end cards.

When are we going to see more Razor prospect stuff, or anything original for that matter?

Since you obviously don't keep up with our products, we have had Razor US Army All-American Football and 2010 Razor Poker release thus far which fit your definition of "original".

Plus, we announcing this week POP-CENTURY (our version of Americana with way more hits and with less low end names).....
Also on tap to be announced imminently, MMA (with a couple of sick surprises!!)......

These plus the announcement of our selection over the other manufacturers for one of the biggest licenses in sports coming soon. ;)
BG[/quote:2nikr2du]

Let's not assume. You know what happens when you assume, I assume? I follow your product. I don't buy it, but I follow it (I value my money).

Also, I wasn't really referring to non-sports and football. The US Army set is cool I guess and poker shouldn't even be in this conversation so I'm going to ignore that and the other pop culture stuff. I was referring to baseball. All you've done is the '09 stuff, including the original Letterman, the original Chrome-esque (I believe that's what you called it?), and the Signature Series, am I correct?

So, when are you going to step it up and actually produce another baseball prospect product that you originally hyped FCB up for just a few years ago?[/quote:2nikr2du]

Ill answer you the best I can today. The person who made the decision to go Topps exclusive is no longer employed by Major League Baseball. Surprisingly, it wasnt this decision that caused his termination (retirement). Make a few calls and youll be appalled by why he was "asked to resign".

We have recently has meetings with the MLBPA to discuss potential licensing. They were open to discussions and we are weighing the possibilities of doing this.
With that being said, UD's CLC exlcusive deal hurts prospect products as does the fact that Topps got the Minor Lague license as part of the above chicanery.

Ill do whats best for my company. You do whats best for you.
If you dont want to buy my product, dont.
At the moment, EVERY issue we make sells out within days and we have dealers begging for additional quantities. If you dont believe me, ask any distributor and they will fill you in.

I would ask that the trolling stop and focus on the question the OP (me) asked.

I bought a ton Of Historical Heroes when it first came out and you can't find any more boxes because there wasn't that much made, less than 9 or so of each(I believe) and the rest 1/1's. I have a Israel Pemberton Jr. cut dated Dec 27th 1738! He was called the King of the Quakers and made me do alot of research on him and he was agreat man and now is my oldest and most interesting auto I own.

But why players like stras? Wouldn't you want to wait until he has been in the league for a couple years to put chase cards like this in? Cards with manufactured rarity like this are being produced of him at this moment and inserted in to future products. Lebron's rookie cards are 7 years old and are much different in a buyback sense because they are not being produced at the time of the release of your buyback product.

98% of set is pre-2009. Gotta show Stras a little love since people are going nuts for his stuff.
BG

In all honesty if I pulled that Stras out of your product, or any high end card, I'd do anything to get it out of a Razor case that you place it in. Unless it comes solely in a magnetic like you did with Letterman or in a Beckett authentic case or BGS graded or something, I'd be really turned off by it. Keep it simple. I'm 18 years old an recognize that the buyback is a way to spice things up and give people a chance to own a card that they could not normally own due to its regular price. However, the price of this box with the way you have talked it up (super high-end everywhere) seems to be very expensive already. It seems to be a lose-lose.

I'm a history buff and would love to buy a box of Historical Heroes, but I can't find them anywhere, the singles are basically dead on eBay, and the one box available is way too expensive for me. I see the same happening with this product.[/quote:3tb9rg57]

EVERY CARD will be PSA or BGS graded.
Its a $200 cost box (just like historical heroes was). I cannot control what dealers price it at after they buy it from me (see 2010 Bowman).

Hell no... As of January 2009, we do NOT cut up cards EVER!
It is going in a product similar to Legend of the Diamond but featuring only rookies from all 4 sports 1948-present.

Fair enough, I wasn't trying to argue with you! Ironically, the one card I would probably want the most out of any Razor product is on eBay right now. I'll hit the bin, post it here, and be happy and merrily on my way. :)

Please list some cool stuff on eBay so I can be the first to hit it!!!!!!!

B.) I won't. Have no worries there.
C.) Congratulations. Again, I've stated "whatever makes money" at least twice. I'm aware you sell out. I'm just calling you unoriginal and boring.
D.) I'm not trolling. You clearly don't know what trolling is if you think I'm trolling.
E.) I pulled the three cards in my sig. Can I send those back for replacements? Those clearly aren't their autos.
F.) Re: E. How's that for trolling?

I'm one of the opinion that his value will never be higher. I would enjoy collecting Strasburg but I just don't see his values getting any higher than what they are currently are before the callup. I would not buy now. However, I would sell now.

To be honest I have not been a big fan of razor stuff in the past but your new product seems pretty cool. If there is anything I learned after pulling the stras super is that some people just live to say the next negative thing. With my pull it was that I would be lucky to get 5k for it, then it was better sell before the 1/1 auto comes out or the super is worthless, then it was oh you won't get paid cause of the media attention and I will have to list it 4 times, after that its oh you are gonna get killed on taxes, best thing to do is just ignore all the negative posts I say and as long as you got buyers and you are selling out you must be doing something right.

So if somebody sucks ass at something and another gives them advice in order to try and help make them better, are they negative?

Just curious, because my friend Jonnie sucks at baseball and I want to help.

Ian,

#1- Ive seen your signature and dealt with it appropriately.
#2- You have taken this off topic and intentionally derailed a legitimate conversation.
#3- If you dont like my products, dont buy them! There are plenty that do and will.

I am not looking to argue. I just find it amazing someone who doesnt want my product is so passionate in his attack on it.

Thanks for your heartfelt valuable insight.

Oh come on already, will you just shut the bleeping up with the razor bashings. Its so fracking old. We get it, many dont like Razor, yes we know. We understand. We get it. No for real, we can read. Seriously, You dont like them, yes, we know, thank you , drive thru.

Every single time razor comes up, shat hits the fan and people bitch. GET OVER IT.

I am one of the people who couldnt stand the exclusive deals that went down in 2008 because it wound up hurting a few Bowman issues but its over and done with.

Razor has done (will do) some never been done/ rarely done products that for some unknown reason, no company has done before and they certainly have found a niche.

So if you DONT like Razor, dont read this and dont reply. Leave this thread to the people who have interest in innovative products and who can actually talk with the owner of a card company.

1.) Snitch.

3.) Again, I won't. I've said this like 12 times.
