Love the concept of the product. Hope it's not marked up to terribly once it leaves your hands.

I am hoping not. That is always the challenge is getting the product into collector hands at a fair price.

If you have any PSA 10 or PSA 9 key OPC for sale, feel free to quote me a price.
BG

I have pretty much every significant OPC rookie from 1980-1988 graded PSA 9 - Bourque, Gartner, Messier, Kurri, Yzerman, Chelios, Lemieux, Hull, Shanahan, etc. The only one I don't have is Roy. I hate Patrick Roy with a passion and won't spend a dime on his cards.

None are for sale. If you're looking to buy in bulk though, I can point you in the right direction

Please point.
Thanks. BG

I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be reaching for ice bags to place on their groins after opening this product. This is no different with any wax from other companies, but this one is using other companies products and hard work, and calling it their own.

Other companies have used buybacks in their products, but they were their own cards. This a little different, and rubs me the wrong way. I understand part of the game is making money, which in most cases is fine, but doing so riding on the coat tails of other companies is something that I just can't agree with.

This is my honest opinion. Take it for what it's worth.

Fair enough. But, I will assure you the 80%+++ ROI will have you reaching for the Ice pack less than 99% of products in market today do. Most products today have you reaching for an iceberg/glacier not an icepack.
Agree to disagree. Thanks for sharing an opinion started in a mature way.

Now one other thing regarding this product, what is the intended ratio of baseball vs. basketball vs. hockey vs. football vs. misc?? Will this information be released? I'm not a football collector, and I'm not at all a basketball collector and would have no interest in hitting any of those cards, so I'd be curious of the chances of me hitting baseball or hockey instead of basketball or football.

bump for an answer, as this is a great question

Not finalized, but as of what Ive bought so far 35%+ baseball, 25% FB, 25% bkb, 10% hockey/golf.
Good news, all cards will be liquid on ebay as they are graded rookies in desirable grades.

To be blunt, aside from the manufacturers, everyone selling or facilitating the act of selling (eBay, PayPal) is essentially a "middleman" in the hobby - they're getting cards from manufacturers to collectors or to other middlemen. With this said, there isn't a big difference between what Razor is doing here and what any other non-manufacturer is doing who is in the selling game every day on eBay or anywhere else - except for providing the opportunity to pick up a card for less than what it may otherwise be bought for.

What will most likely happen is that the majority of cards busted from this product will probably be right back on ebay again... Ebay and PayPal are the biggest middlemen of all :)

I like the idea of product, but it just seems pathetic that you guys are putting other companies cards into your own product. Just my two cents, doesn't shine a good light on Razor. However, I do like the idealism of the product.

I'm going to email Adam right now for an order sheet. I should have gotten a case of poker but just didn't have the liquid funds at the time. Everything is working pretty well w/ these types of products.

How many packs/boxes/cases are there going to be? what's cost going to be? do I need to find my tax ID to purchase direct? I forget.

You seem to have gotten a good deal on that Strasburg, imo its his nicest card. This has the potential to be a great product but you never know. Look at the legends people lost a lot on the breaks but said they had fun in doing so, atleast they had fun. Does this to anyone else remind them of a higher end variety box that you would buy from toy r us that had a dozen packs or so from different companies and had a "gift" inside.

As far as the product goes you should try to get a mickelson rookie auto as hes the best golfer in the world today.

One last thing I like how your comapny allows for the collectors to voice their opinion which makes us as a buyer feel important which is always good for any business

Happy not a cut up
Hard to tell if a good buy
Guess the future will tell
If you are pleased with purchase, that's what really matters
What would go sweet with that is a /25 Bryce Harper auto

I am looking to spend $250,000+ on high end rookie cards ($100-10,000 street value).... Feel free to email any items at fair levels...

I think the idea is a fun one for many collectors. As mentioned there are plenty of people who would love a shot at pulling a LeBron or Crosby.

As for how this "reflects" on the company, I'm not sure why it would reflect negatively as long as it is handled well.

I love the idea for the product however with a card like that Strasburg, it could be a $50 card by the time your product hits. Any idea on a price on this yet? I assume no since you are still buying but figured id ask. Do you expect it to be less or more than legends of the diamond?

$200 factory cost box.
The product hits in late August.
Unless he needs Tommy John in the next 2 months, I think value is fairly stable $500-1000.
BG

$200 factory cost.... Im guessing it wll be $300-500 retail??

And you are debating if you should do a full checklist.... must mean he has 200 BGS 9 Jeter, Sandberg, Boggs, Maddux, Clemens and Griffey RCs.

The numbers should not be too much of a mystery to anyone who wants to crack the numbers. BG mentioned that the boxes should hold around 85-90% return. Take the big cards and figure out their costs and you'll know the averages for the rest of the lesser hits. Obviously it won't tell you exactly, but it will give you an idea.

At 85-90% if you do okay and sell what you pulled you should be able to take a few shots without it costing you a ton. Obvoiusly some will get $50 cards, but the odds are better than almost any other product.
