1. Alex Rodriguez
2. Junior Griffey
3. Chipper Jones
4. Joe Mauer
5. Josh Hamilton
6. Adrian Gonzalez
7. David Price
8. Harold Baines
9. Justin Upton
10. Darryl Strawberry
* The two Nationals could obviously rise up this list and are being excluded here time being since there is just not enough MLB experience to extrapolate from.

Jeff Burroughs, at this point, deserves a spot a hell of a lot more than Upton or Price.

~You do realize that this is the same David Price that pitches in the AL East and finished second in the Cy Young voting in his second season? You do know that right? Right?~

You Realize that Borroughs was the AL MVP in 1974, right?

Oh, Cripes. Yes, I'm well aware. To take your line of questioning, you do realize Burroughs played 1700 games, WON AN MVP, and had a career OPS plus of 121, right? You do know that, right?

Price has been very good TO DATE. But, for this purpose, let's not compare him to a successful decade-long plus career.

Geez.

Edit: lol, nevermind, I see you added squigglies. On FCB, you never know.....every prospect is better than anyone, ever.

Blast from the past looking down the #1 pick list. Bob Horner was a stud when he wasn't hurt. Did not know he never spent a day in the minors. I'm sure Padres fan remember the name Shawn Abner. I knew a guy that sunk a ton of money into his 85 Topps Tiffany.

I'd even take Surhoff over Upton to this point. Nothing against J-Up, and I know it's not a very big list, but let him play consistantly at least.

Also, Strawberry might go as high as 6 IMO.
