Way to try and deflect after using the jump to conclusions mat and being incorrect twice though.
From reading that article on Beckett, MLB's measure of "success" by Topps is purely based on how much money Topps gives to MLB. But then, people keep buying all these products they purport to "hate", so it's not like Topps is solely to blame on the state of the hobby. Busting a case of Tier 1 or Museum Collection and then bashing it online still means Topps sold a case. People actually have to stop buying the products for anything to change, otherwise it's just a whiny, vocal minority that is complaining (while still actually supporting the very company they are complaining about so vehemently).

What people can't get, ESPECIALLY collectors, they will pay crazy for even if it's a dog issue.
Bottom line, competition is needed in the baseball card company landscape.
