Where are people seeing the "first to 200 coins gets a gold embedded card".. all I see is that they get the 100 card set.

From their OFFICIAL RULES on the page:

H. Special Prize for "First 100."

The first one hundred (100) persons whose Codes are accepted and who receive a total of two hundred (200) Golden Moments Digital Coins (any combination of MLB Team Digital Coins, MLB Superstar Digital Coins and MLB Legend Digital Coins; Digital Coins need not be unique) will each win a First 100 Prize of a Golden Moments Card set of all one hundred (100) Golden Moments regular/common player cards (i.e., without gold foil) (Approx. Retail Value: $200 ea.) (If Golden Moments Card is received, it will NOT count toward reaching the total of two hundred (200)). Odds of winning a First 100 Prize depend on when a participant enters two hundred (200) Codes resulting in receipt of Golden Moments Digital Coins as compared to other participants as well as the likelihood of a participant obtaining a Golden Moments Digital Coin rather than a Golden Moments Card when entering a Code. Potential winners will be notified by e-mail.



As you can see by what I bolded... it says that they not need be unique, either. Someon eelse yesterday posted that they saw that they had to be unique, and that the winners get a gold-embedded card. I scoured the site from the time it went live, and I never saw that information.

I see. But I also see how that line says nothing about receiving the set (which is what is advertised on the front page) in that disclosure. My guess is that the person doing the site decided to copy/paste a portion of the segment and ended up copying the wrong portion. I mean, if they included that many EXTRA 1/1 gold embedded cards, what about all of them that were to be in the "unlock" portion of the promotion?
You'd be hard-pressed to get that honored.

Edit: That, or they could say "Well, it says 200 UNIQUE coins" which is impossible - so it'd be void anyway. I'd stick to the official rules page and not the promotional item as items listed as "official rules" are more easily enforced.

It will be interesting to see what they do. However, since there are 330 base gold embeddeds and 100 Golden Moments gold embeddeds, that would lead to 430 total embeddeds. 100 would go to the first 100 people and that would leave 330 to be randomly inserted on the site. Considering that there have been ZERO embeddeds unlocked, this could certainly be doable.

We will just have to wait and see.
