bmp - I was hoping Doubront was going to be called up for the rotation, but no luck.

I read the inside scoop on why. He got a mild groin strain a few days before Matsuzaka went on the DL, but the AAA manager said Doubront was the man who would have been called up 1st, saying he's been "excellent" in 4 starts, on a pitch limit due to missing ST. He had an ERA under 2.00 with 18 K in his first 13 2/3 INN. I think they said he slipped on a wet mound in the bullpen while warming up. Nothing serious, just a mild strain, grade 1. He'll be up soon and kicking butt.

A few new pickups. When I got the Ortiz 1/1, it was in a little too loose of a toploader. When I went to switch it, I wasn't paying attention, and dropped it on the ground, resulting in a ding to the top right corner. I'm an idiot.

i didnt think it would go as high as it did either i emailed the guy that won it and he said its his frist card of hottovy. he also said he might look to resell it but he might buy more he wasnt sure i have some extra stuff if your looking for anything
