Not selling or buying, just discussing:
On 4/16 Travis Snider was batting: .348 ; slugging percent .913; on base of .423
On 5/13 Travis Snider is now batting: .253 ; slugging percent .418; on base of .306
On 4/15 Pablo Sandoval was batting: .179; slugging percent .214; on base of .258
On 5/13 Pabo Sandoval is now batting: .303; slugging percent 487 ; on base of .346
These two sluggers are going in opposite directions but are stll incredibly young (21 and 22 years old) and are the cornerstone to the future for their respective teams.
What went right and went what wrong to create these drastic changes?
I hate Travis Snider's position in the lineup. I would bat him 7th or higher, even 8th, but definitely not 9th. I can't tell you how many times the person in front of him makes the last out of the inning with runners on base, it is sickening.
