Leave him alone.

Ok. Now might be a good time to take a step back, take a deep breath and relax. No sense in getting all worked up with the name calling. Seriously. Nobody here has bashed the kid or said anything that wasn't a direct result of his annoying, constant posting.

I just think the behavior towards him is pretty sad.

And your behavior in response to theirs was any better?

Its fun to jump on someone every now and then. Its kinda like laughing at a good movie. You just have to keep going back for more. NOW with that said, lets all just step back from the computer desks, laptops, iPhones, netbooks, etc...and chill.

Adamsince--relax dude. No need to blow a fuse trying to take up for the kid. He's got to play the hand thats dealt him and I have little sympathy for someone who brings it on himself so easily, and so quickly. But thank you for trying to be a standup guy.

As for the original question.....as to whether this card was trimmed or not, there is no way to tell unless the card were received and examined. Hell, who would care if it were or not? Its slabbed, graded, and is probably THE best card of the guy that this kid collects. If its for his PC does it matter if its trimmed? I wouldn't care so much if it were for my PC and it was an UBER RARE card of my guy that I desperately wanted for my collection.

Now for some advice--Cabbagepatch--you don't need to be so quick to take advice on here. Being 18 and a collector you sometimes have to spread your wings and fly and make some decisions on your own. Everyone on here has had to do that whether the membership on a message board agreed or not. I have done it before and its a win some lose some type of hobby. If I were you, I would just secure a copy of the card because you WANT that card and not worry if it is trimmed or not. Just get it because its THE card you want. Now if you want a real doozy of a copy, save up and shell out the big bucks for a high grade copy.

Now has Trigger been beat enough?

Sure, I was defending someone. I told the "adults" exactly how I felt in regards to their comments towards miggy.

Blanning, I'm done, just needed to get that out.

All Others, I just want to explain where I'm coming from. I worked at a baseball card shop through college. I'm also a collector and understand the excitement of collecting. I've seeing many Miggy type collectors in person and helped them throughout their "career" as a collector...he simply reminds me of those collectors. I just don't judge "kids" too harshly for being zealous and loving the hobby and their cards. It is so easy to ignore posts & threads you don't like...but many made the decision to pursue miggy in a public display that was very distasteful.

But, I'll call it a thread and get back to my party.

Thanks adam.

And Miggy, do your own homework for a while. Its called collecting and letting us make the decisions for you is like cheating on a math test. You don't learn a thing about the subject matter. This thread is done.
