If I didn't reply, then it was likely already sold. I apologize for not responding but I don't recall your name. I also understand your point but I don't deal like that. I sell plenty underpriced for a variety of reasons.
People here can think what they want. idgaf & it doesn't affect my bottom line since there's no $ here.

How long do you think I'm gonna let you come on here and insult the site like you do constantly?

Yes, this board isn't as big as blowout. It never has been. Blowout has a natural advantage over anyone who would attempt to do this kind of site. When you think about what this has been with absolutely nothing driving it other than a good community then the results here are absolutely outstanding.

We aren't the #1 retailer of wax online like blowout, yet we are mentioned in the same sentence as them when people talk about online sports card communities. You coming on here and calling it a ghost town is really insulting to me. The next time it happens you can stay on blowout for all I care.

looks like you got hella deals on some scrubs. also, looks like you're quite the prolific transactor: A strong 5 FB over 3.5 years and 8000 posts across 2 forums.

I don't have a lot of feedback because I rarely find anything for my PC on forums. Am I supposed to buy XXXX that I don't want on forums so I can have super awesome feedback like you?

Of my five feedback, one was a sale, one was a junk for junk trade with a friend, and the other three were PC cards. Two of which were Superfractors, and the other which was a Gold Refractor #01/50 that I wanted for a Rainbow. The prices on these cards were actually in the range that I wanted to pay, and one of them was under what I would have spent on it.

The three other PC cards that I have tried to work out a deal on on a forum were all outrageous sellers. (one being said Orange Refractor).

The other was a member (on here) with two printing plates that I wanted. I PM'd them as I knew that they had the cards I wanted. He turned around and listed them on eBay. I made a $22.50 offer on here. He replied that he had an offer of $30 each, and yes, both auctions had an offer. I did a little research and found that both of the offers on ebay were from the sellers other account. I called him out as a liar and he denied it, saying the $30 offers were through FCB, not ebay. Needless to say they still sit on ebay several months later.

I have found that it is much easier just to buy the cards that I want off eBay, and thats why I have made over 400 card purchases on ebay.

Just have to be patient, weed through the d bags, and jump when the offers show up. There really ate a lot of great members on blowout. Unfortunately, the majority of the population, over there, hides that fact.

That said, with my transactions picking up here (trade and buying wise) I've only posted on thread on BO, in the last two weeks. It was a sell thread.

The fact that I have 5 post and 0 feedback they see me as being a noob who may not know what he's doing. Ill throw a high price and he just might hit it. I had 1 person PM me that he had 7 ref* autographs of the guy I was looking for. He wanted $50 for them and they sell for around $3 a piece normally. I declined and his response was "that's fine, Ill just sell them for $7 to $10 NEXT YEAR. Well if that's the case (since we are selling at next years prices) then I want $25 for each one of my ******* Chrome autographs because that is what they will be selling for Next Year.

I know the feeling all too well man. It was the same way when I first started there, three years ago. When i go there, except when posting a sell thread, I just browse through the threads real quickly. If nothing piques my interest I close the page. I've learned not to post much over there because they don't care if your feedback is 5 or 50. They'll pile on every chance they get.

I've also learned which members have the best sales and which ones to not even bother with. There really are some great members over there. Just takes a while to figure out which ones. Almost everyone is a self-proclaimed, master prospector though.

I was able to get a '03 Topps Tribute GU Bat of Willie McCovey & a '11 Panini Rookies Threads dual jsy of Julio Jones & Mark Ingram /500 for like $7 dlvd a week ago. That was one of the better deals I've actually made over that way.

I'd guess that there are 500x as many transactions on BO than FCB. Those of you flaming are just trying to appear cool to the herd with no actual experiences because it's super easy to buy/sell.

Uh and the BO herd follower has come back on here to hold their jock-strap
Brilliant

I've tried buying from you on Blowout. You named a price, I agreed, then you ignored my messages because you realized you priced your cards too low. If you're not going to follow through with your word, at least have the decency to acknowledge your mistake.

Nice ****** move. Seems to be the MO over there.

So, are you just white-knighting or are you actually interested in conversing like a normal human being? Vwnut posted an honest bad experience. They happen everywhere, but this thread concerns Blowout. Just because the guy had a bad trader experience doens't mean you need to blast who he collects. It's funny, because I think you did the same thing to me when I said something you didn't agree with.

Quite the defense mechanism.

There's a difference between someone deserving a second chance for being young and someone deserving to stay when they insult the community. I'm all abou tpeople being able to air their personal issues with individuals - but to constantly insult the whole site? I vote for a toss.

It is the MO of most people, who have no valid way to argue, to then find something completely irreverent, and make it personal. Since they do not know how to stay on topic and have a proper debate.

I buy and sell on FCB and Blowout as often as I want to, need to, and when I can find the cards that I want. My feedback there is low simply because not all people leave feedback - nor do I for that matter.

I get it that the two forums are competitive for memberships, but I have never seen them as a competition for myself or my collection. They are tools to utilize so that I can maximize my market for selling and buying. I wish I could get more transactions done here, and I wish they had better conversation and less attitude over there. I use what each site has to offer me, I make the best of it, and I try to find ways to keep my interest in this hobby - which is failing very badly as of late.

For anyone curious (probably no one) this person was me. It's true I wanted/still want $50 for all 7 of them. It's also true that a lot of 7 sold for $25. That lot was also purchased by me. Sure, whether or not I'll actually double my money or not is up for debate. I also realize that cards sell for less in the off season. As posted above, I have absolutely no problem sitting on all of them until next year. Will the prices be the same? Who knows. I understand the logic as a buyer and they need to be "at or below" ebay costs, and the sellers need to get top dollar for their beloved cardboard. Also stated above, a simple search for Khris Davis auto's will reveal that, indeed, the last two have sold for $1 and $3. Also, a little scroll down the page will show that they have also sold for $5, $7, and $10 during in season months. Prospecting is a risk, as we all know, and quite frankly it's a risk I'm willing to take with the cards. Maybe the prices will rise to that level again, maybe they won't. So anyway, yeah come get me with my absurd prices and be sure to post on other forums and whine about them as this member has.

Not whining at all about it just wondering if this is customary on that forum. Ive asked about 2 guys and every single PM I have receive but 1 the sellers all wanted double if not triple ebay prices. If its someone you bought to keep until next season why respond? I see lots of post on guys that I have bought into but never respond to them because I know my asking price is more than they are willing to pay. Like many of us I don't buy into someone to break even, so yes I'm looking to pay current market value not next years price.

Fair enough, I have no idea if that is customary on that forum. I don't buy too much over there. It's someone I bought for the future, yes, but as far as not responding, how I am supposed to know what you are willing to pay? My first reaction was, "Hey, this guy is looking for Khris Davis. I have some Khris Davis I'd be willing to let go of if I could get a decent price for them." Was $50 absurd? Perhaps. I did a completed listing search and saw that they had sold for $7-$10 at one time. Sure, it's not the current market, but when they sell for those numbers in the past I don't want to feel like I left money on the table when selling the cards if all it means that I wait until next season rolls around. That's where our differences came in.

I agree with you 100%. No one wants to leave money on the table. You got the refractor lot of 7 and I got the Base lot of 17 from that seller. So I still have a ton on him. I was just surprised with the 2 guys I was looking to buy (both who are not major prospects) people wanted so much for them. So essentially my first reaction about the board is its overpriced. I'm sure there are plenty of good deals but first impressions are a huge impact on how one views something. I think he's a good buy and I believe you will get the $7-$10 per card you want. With him being in the AFL you may see it sooner than next year.

Why buy on a Forum if you can get the card for the same price/cheaper on ebay with less hassle?
