Here's how it looked before the crease. It's a lovely card. You won't regret getting it. I don't know how many more of these 1952 Topps I can do since about half of the living members in that set have stopped signing because of their age and other realities of life. I have a Wally Westlake out in the mail but I read that he might have stopped signing recently. Right now, I'm not sure I want to keep going with the 1952 Topps but I'm aiming to get a 52 Dick Groat (high number) soon... if I can find one that looks nice at a good price.Nice! Bidding on one of those to send out right now
Thanks for the tip - what's the name of that seller? I did see that Crandall and Antonelli aren't signing anymore. It's sad to see that. Looking for these 52 Topps cards, I have seen some signed 52 Crandalls at a decent price on eBay. I'm so focused on the 52 Groat that I've stopped looking for the others. There’s a guy on eBay selling a bunch of old school 50s cards for pretty good prices, lots of 51B and 52T, just trying to focus on Braves for now but Crandall and Antonelli are the only ones still here and neither are able to sign unfortunately.
Thanks. I have seen their listings but I always get priced out. Will give it a second glance.gregmorriscards
I did on like 15 or 20 but I’m not set chasing so I only bid like 2 or 3 bucks so I didn’t win any, my still go after the Miller cause it looks in great shape. He had some nice 55B too, good edges and corners, nicely centered
