Finally had some luck with the Topps Diamond giveaway - picked up a couple of the value boxes, put in my code and got a Jackie Robinson die cut. These things are kind of addicting, especially considering I don't give a **** about base Topps. If they'd make a Heritage/Ginter/Gypsy Queen Value Box, I'd buy every one in sight.

Why in the hell do you like Cowherd? He's a total blowhard. I used to like him. I still agree with most of his social commentary. But he knows jack about sports. You can tell when his buddy (Fish?) looks stuff up for him. He sounds like an encyclopedia. But when he actually has to think and fire off trivia, he sounds like a woman. A local guy made it onto People of Wal Mart! He's a local legend known as "Onion Head". Onion Head likes to spend his summer days migrating through the various block parties and church jubilees preaching his own gospel to the young crowd who stop to laugh at him. When the cold months roll around or it's raining on a summer get together, Onion Head enjoys walking around the mall with one pant leg rolled up. Not only is he totally off his rocker, he's also a great conversation starter.

On the video game front, I'm addicted to Red Dead Redemption. I bought it at release, tired of it, and gave it up. Three weeks ago I deleted the saves to save room, and then a few days later got an urge to play it. I'm almost at the end and have completed many of the challenges. I'm getting frustrated because I can't find three more skunks for a hunting challenge.
