Nice inscription with Kubel and first Target Field HR on jersey. Did helpers bark at you for asking for inscriptions.

The kid in front if me at the Suzuki, Berrios, and Olson table got 2 of Suzuki, 5 of Berrios, and three of Olson. I couldn't believe it.

I was in the end of the Sano line, and I heard of someone who had Buxton sign 4 things before they caught on.

Don't know if it's true obviously.

No Arcia, and Nolasco was a no-show for the first part of the show.

My buddy got Mauer, I got Sano.

Lots of other graphs too, but that's about it.

Just got home (stopped at the casino coming back) so not going to scan or show anything today. Great day!

Wasn't able to get Buxton (about 15 mins late to the line) but very happy with my dozier signed bat, Sano and Meyer autos along with some nice finds within the card vendors! I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Exhausted, catch everyone tomorrow!!

Going tomorrow, looking to double up on Mauer by going thru the line twice, after that, will bum around and make some deals. Have my eye on one thing.

We'll wish me luck as I start my 7. Hour trek home into the storm. Roads look bad once I hit the ND border. I just hope I make home to teach tomorrow.

Had a great time on Friday meeting up with a few board members prior to going to the gates. My main goal was to get Mauer on a 16x20, as I've missed him the last several years and I'm trying to work on getting some bigger pieces done to fill the walls of my new house. So I went after Mauer first.. turns out if I went to the Buxton gate with you guys I could've ended up with both. Oh well - there's always next year.

Then I headed over to wait in the Hrbek/Morris/Oliva/Steinbach line. I thought I'd have no problem with them since I got in when it was still Buxton but.... half hour to go and one of the line workers says they're cutting off the line. So I leave, only to find out they let more people in and I would've gotten them. Not too upset on missing out on Hrbek since I can get him easily at HQ's Rock N Jock but it's the third time in the last year I've missed on Morris (couldn't make it to Frantzen's or his Rosedale appearance). Anyway, I decided to head down to get Dozier and I was near the front for that. Got him on a ball and Florimon/Mastroiani on their 2013 guide pages.

Then I got in the line for Gladden/Hicks/Gardy/etc. Got Gardy on an 8x10 (forgot to take the pic) and Kubel on a BP ball for Tgutta. Here are picks of the Hicks 11x14 and Gladden 16x20 I got done. Gladden is a family favorite - great local guy and my wife had his daughter in her class one of her first years teaching. Hicks made a funny comment to the other guys at the table about how much he *really* wanted that base.
