This awesome that Thome will be there, I had a feeling he would be. Same thing a couple yrs ago when they traded for Delmon right before TF he was there.

This. And how is the auto lines set up ? Is it just one person per line ? I'm more interested in the prospects than vets, but wouldn't mind Mauer / Kubel / Liriano / Bert.

And info would be much appreciated

So, at corner 7 (for example) there'll be 4 guys at a table and you just slide on down ? Am I reading into this right ?

Okay, here's a picture so you know what to expect.

In the very center, see the tall blue curtain? That is the backdrop of Autograph Corner #1. The blue bunting shows the area of it's line. On the other side of it--with red bunting--is Autograph Line #2. Each line will have 3 or 4 players. Pay your price at the head of the line--either 5 or 10 down there--and get one auto from each player. One item per player, per person. All the clutter on both sides (north and south) of the auto areas are the card show tables. The minor leaguers would be to the far left (off camera) They usually have green bunting to set them apart. Lines 3-5 are along the concourse, and the lines feed into the football pressbox. Dress in layers because waiting in the lines in the concourse will get you sweaty.

You're correct. The MILB guys are free and your trip through the line will get you autos of everyone at the table. Corner 1/2 have tended to be $5/$10 and corners 3, 4, 5, and 6 depend on who is signing with autos ranging from $10 to $25.

The lines seem to be a little shorter on Friday night than on Sat/Sun. Last year, I had no trouble getting a Revere's auto on Friday night (maybe a 20 min. line) and then tried to get a second auto on the weekend but bailed when it wasn't a given that I would make it through the line in an hour.

It was amazing how long the line for Revere was last year. I expect the line for Hicks to be long this year.

Have they released any pricing info for auto stations this year?

Nothing yet, and I doubt there will be. I'm guessing Thome wil be $20. ($20 well spent in my book!) The lines for him will be bad. Maybe Friday night there will be enough folks who don't even know that he'll be there, and leave before he starts.

I was actually thinking Saturday might be better considering he will be signing at the sametime as Mauer. Either way, I will be checking out the line Friday, if not to bad, I'm hitting that one up.

Looks like I'll be going with my son on Friday, then all of us will come another day--Saturday or Sunday--to let the boys goof and play. It works better when I work on getting autographs on a different day than when everybody comes. We probably won't be in line to get in when the gates open, but we'll go and relax and have a good time. Maybe I'll work on more of the rookie guys on the other day, instead of Friday. Maybe while I'm killing time in the Morneau line Friday night, somebody could help a brother out and score some autos for me?

What's nice about that is Mauer is signing at the same time. That'll help thin down Thome's line a little.

And Lally, I need to get my own Morneau first! I missed out last year!
