Silva is one of my favorite fighters and always will be. Rampage just had his number tonight, it happens.

As much as it pains me to say it, Wandy's career may be winding down. He has been in many many wars and the damage may be catching up with him. I hope he comes back from this. A match between Wandy and Machida may be in the near future.

Wow, this event pains me to watch...

Looks like the years of battles have caught up with both Nog and Wandy, two of my favorites. It was very clear that both are no longer in their primes.

 I am depressed.

What a weird night. Forrest was looking good until the third. He took some hard GNP from Rashad.

Rashad VS Rampage looks to be next.

I was surprised that Mir took care of Nog so easy. He simply dominated him. Rampage was very impressive. I was disappointed that Forrest lost. Forrest was controlling the fight and got caught.

Awesome night if you like the fighter's deciding the outcome.

Nog is partially blind in one eye. Also the MANY beatings he has taken look to have caught up with him. A true legend of the sport, but his time looks to have passed.

Rampage and Wandy HATE each other, so that fight had little chance of going to a decision. Wandy got caught, it happens. I like both Rampage and Wandy, but really wanted Silva to get another shot at the title. Like Nog, his prime is over.

I'm pretty happy with all the results tonight, besides that schmuck Mir winning.

Was I the only person that thought CB Dalloway tapped out in his fight?

i am not a big Forest fan but man he looked bad and on the one night that i was pulling for him. maybe i just need to not be pulling for him and he will win. oh well over all i was very pleased with this pay per view. i smoked a great cigar, drank some beers and watched a bunch of grown men beat the hell out of each other on my birthday. all in all it was a great birthday!!

Very glad to see Evans win. I knew he would beat FOrrest. Forrest just wasn't on, all he could score points no were his kicks

Evans wasn't doing much at all during that time though. Forrest, like it or not, was clearly winning when he got caught.

I think it's interesting that it seems like more and more fights are staying up these days. It's almost like everyone respects the ground/submission game so much they would rather take the chance that they catch a guy by knockout. Even the guys that are ground game specialist are staying up.

Normally one would think it was an influx of boxing style fighters in MMA, but in reality I think it's an increase in great ground fighting causing people to respect it so much that they don't want to take it there.

The height advantage was obvious in that match, and Evans wasnt doing much because Forrest would keep his distance with his kicks, Evans did land some good body punches and jabs. I know Forrest was winning the rounds, but it's not like he was doing anything to really knock out Rashad, he was just trying to kick his way to decision again

Why did Chuck Liddell look upset after Rampage KO'd Wanderlei?

Probably because he knows he'll never be anywhere near the belt again.

I wouldn't be totally shocked if they gave Chuck another title shot before he retires. I mean, if Brock can get a shot at the title, I guess Chuck can too.

Unless Chuck fights til he's 42, he probably wont get another shot.

There are too many people in contention now for a possible title shot:

Forrest
Rampage
Rich Franklin
Wandy (even after the loss)
Rashad (if he was to lose)
Machida
Thiago Silva
...and then Chuck

So The answer is that he will probably not see a title shot for a long time, although, it would not surprise me to see Chuck in a title fight, if he can beat his next opponent, against Rashad as a Grudge Match by the end of the year

What i want to know is why a lot of people think Machida deserves a title shot :?:
