Evans wasn't doing much at all during that time though. Forrest, like it or not, was clearly winning when he got caught.
I think it's interesting that it seems like more and more fights are staying up these days. It's almost like everyone respects the ground/submission game so much they would rather take the chance that they catch a guy by knockout. Even the guys that are ground game specialist are staying up.
Normally one would think it was an influx of boxing style fighters in MMA, but in reality I think it's an increase in great ground fighting causing people to respect it so much that they don't want to take it there.
