**I updated with pictures. Sorry about my post from this morning. I was REALLY tired after sorting through cards. I opened 2 cases (1 Hobby and 1 Jumbo). Overall, I did so-so. I really like the bat barrel cards, even though they ar manufactured. I also like some of the variation cards they threw in, although they are a pain in butt to spot when opening 2 cases. If it was 1 box of cards, I wouldn't mind. I feel like I missed some cards, so I have to go through them again. In case you were wondering, I hit all 3 Strasburg cards at a rate of 1 per box. I also hit the "Tales of the Game" ,Turkey Red and Peak Performance Strasburgs a few times. Sadly, I did not hit a Pie in the face card. Sorry about the scans. I got lazy and some of the pictures got cut off. I'll try to fix them later.**
Sorry, no pictures right now. I just spent the past 10 hours breaking boxes and cleaning up. I don't know how people get through multi case breaks, cause this was one of the hardest things I've done in a while. And I'm not even done!!! I still need to sort through my cards and make sure I didn't miss any variations or pie in the face cards.
I will post pictures after I get some sleep, but just a few highlights:
- I did pull a crapload of MCG. 170 to be exact.
- Best Auto I pulled was Buster Posey. I pulled a total of 8 autos out of the 2 cases.
- I pulled a chrome Strasburg from one of the box toppers. Of course, the centering is off. TOPPS!!!!!!
- I pulled a ton of variations (Johnny Bench, Tony Gwyn, Jim Palmer, and some others I can't remember) and original back throwback cards.
- Best Bat Barrel relic was Evan Longoria /99. I also pulled an Ike Davis /25, Ryan Zimmerman /99, Adam Jones /99, Jose Bautista /99 and one more I can't remember because I'm so tired.
- I pulled LOTS of All star jersey cards. No jumbos. Best one was a Gold Tulo card...I forgot the numbering.
- I pulled 4 platinum bordered cards?? they are numbered to /59?
Anyway...pictures to come...sleep first.
