For an auction that ends, the lag is under a minute for the results to appear in the completed feed.

If that auction was a best offer, there is some additional lag, about 6 hours, for the actual accepted price to populate through eBay's API. In the mean time, it just shows you the original asking price as the final price.

My guess is that eBay doesn't migrate all of that data over to their servers as its happening, rather in large clumps at designated times.

So, there is a chance that you could do a search and see one final price, then a day later see a completely different price, after their servers have updated.

Here's your answer from earlier in the thread Mous...takes up to 6 hours or overnight for the serves to update and give accurate BO figures for BINs.

Thanks,
Jeff

Good to hear, and thanks! I am always looking at new ways to make it better for the collecting community. If anyone has any requests, post them up!

Good work, here is one idea I have when I have checked it out. If searching by item number , and it's a completed listing , can you set it so it pulls up the item wo having to change the options to completed listings?

I second this-I bet this is the most common use of the site right now. Would be awesome if that was the default!

Thanks,
Jeff
