They sent me a Matt Wieters Sweet spot sweet Begeginnings rookie auto /65. I have no idea the value of the auto , On my phone and havent looked on ebay. Is it fair?

Not bad, but those Bug cards look amazing. When they hit they will sell for big $. Too bad UD made way to many redemptions for so few bug cards that they could produce.

UD told me it was gonna be replaced, so I picked baseball as the sport. Really didnt expect a monster card, I am sure at one time this was a 100+ cv card.

I feel bad for the people who picked up the bug cards who aren't sports fans, but actually pursued it because they're into science/biology only to find out they aren't getting it. Not to mention how those bug cards are probably going to go for once they're live.

Is UD ever going to release these cards???? They made big pr release that they were done all over Beckett baseball magazine and web site release. Yet, still no one is getting them. Is it all legal issue now? Knowing UD I'm surprised a few haven't been given to some of their bo bo's to sell on Ebay.

My LCS said UD had bunches of them already made at the Vegas seminar, showing them off to everyone. UD also said the Mystery Cuts were shipping in late May..

Was their a certain type of bug card you were due? Or was it random. I guess seeing the Wieters compared to what bug cards look like. Gotta agree with Schmidtfan, you got screwed. Should have held out.

UD told me they needed to replace the card, I didnt ask for the replacement. I even called and asked to not get one, They told me that they couldnt reverse it. I asked for a baseball casehit in return at that point, This is what they consider a casehit. I am positive a case hit in sweet spot was a jumbo patch haha. I am honestly thinking about calling them on it, Not to happy with the card really. If I can trade it though, I will be pretty happy/

I wonder why they needed to replace it? Did your redemption specify what bug you were supposed to get.

Some of the Vegas cards must have gotten out into the public. I saw the Giant Leaf Bug card at a show in Huntsville, AL about a month ago. Guy wanted $350 for it. The thing was so big/thick that it stood up on it's side with no help. He also had a card that had a piece of the Golden Gate Bridge from Goodwin as well. Same thing..uber thick.

As someone with several pending Entomology redemptions, I'd like to hear more about this situation. Did UD contact you out of the blue, stating that you'd be required to take a replacement? Had you been in contact with them on this card previously?

Any other details on the backstory would be appreciated.

Wow, nice to know that some have made it on the market. I bet the card would sell for nice $ on Ebay. I don't think any have been sold there yet.
