Vale of chrome cards vs EEE?

Need some help with a value of a card. Lets say player X's 07 Chrome Red 1st year auto sells for $150 what would be a reasonable price for a 07 EEE Gold Status /5 auto of the same player? I know chrome is king and the EEE will be less but how much less?

I agree, although for a card with this limited of a print run, I think those rules go out the window to some extent. The Bowman products will still be worth more, but I think the percentage gap may close a bit when it comes to #/5 and #1/1 cards.

the rarer cards will be expensive of course but I just saw the arodys vizcaino black 1/1 from elite sell for what, 230. I'm willing to bet the chrome super 1/1 fetches 3-4 times that at least solely based on it being the chrome 1/1. people heart chromes much more than anything elite and will pay that extra cost.

Very true. I also think the higher end stuff will show much larger gaps between Chrome and Elite than the lower-value stuff. If the red ref auto in question sold for 1500 instead of 150, I would have guessed about 400-650 for an Elite /5...but since the red only gets 150, I don't think it's out of the question to think the Elite will sell for a price much closer, percentage-wise.
