As far as the matchups go, I don't think that the camps and fighters should have much, if any, say in who they fight. I think it should be the match maker's responsibility to decide who fights who when who's healthy, camps and opinions be damned. I don't like that Kos/Swick/Fitch, etc won't fight each other, and that Silva and Machida have the decision to not fight each other. If it's a great match up with title implications, I don't think they should have a choice in the matter. Either they fight, or they're fined or some sort of punishment is implimented. And if they're caught faking an injury to avoid it, fined or suspened. I hate that fighters get to pick and choose who they fight. They're under contract, they should fight who they're TOLD!

I think this might be happening sooner than later.

I would say Silva is forced to fight Machida by the end of the year if they both win mid year
