Can anyone tell me what it means if a card is Graded "8 (OC)" like the Koufax above? Does that mean it would grade an 8 if you did not factor centering into the grade?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not positive, but yes, i think so. What I don't get is if the owner of the card or PSA chooses whether to grade it as 8 OC or just a 6.

Like the Batter Up cards!

Here are a few scrapbook pages from my collection as a child, that I finally found. A few rub offs and some pictures cut from the newspaper.

Best card I have. Bought from Junior _Griffey (nice guy) in a PSA 3 slab, had it re-slabbed in SGC.

I'm building The Monster in SGC 40. pain in the ass but boy is it fun

Huge pick up for me for my set.

No pictures, but I received the last two cards to complete my 1971 baseball set. I'm designating the Baker/Paciorek/Baylor card as the official set killer. The set is raw, and most of it is ragged - just the way I like my vintage. I'll have to post a scan of my Reggie Jackson - it's brutal, but beautiful!

Since June 4, I have now put 1971, 1973 and 1974 to bed. 1974 includes all of the Wash N'Lea variations. 1970, you're next.

Just got this in tonight. Dahlen's a tough get in both T206 and T205. As we all know, these cards were inserted in cigarette packs. Unfortunately, this card came from a current heavy smoker's house. The bubble wrap and the card itself reek.

Oh well, I'm still pretty darn excited to cross this one off the list. I'll try to get a scan up of the T205 Brooklyn Superba set in progress. I just need one card to finish up, and it's a very tough card - Irvin Wilhelm.
