My newest, old Mantle arrived today. I just need the 1952 Bowman and 1952 Topps to have all of the regular issue Mantle cards from his playing years.

The Baseball Scoops cards came out during at least two years and were primarily sold from vending machines. Put your coin in and out pops a random card. I might have that one. I'll check when I get home.

I was wrong....I had this one. I also have 12 more that I bought from a vending machine in a hotel lobby in Washington,DC, when I went up to see the Yankees play the Senators when I was a kid.

And then, there was only one left to get! I only need the Topps 52 Mantle. Probably a couple of years away, as I need to repay family funds with ball card funds for the cards I've bought lately.
