I've been chomping at the bit to post something in this thread. Finally!

52T high number Dodgers aren't very hard to find, but they're sure hard to find for a price I'm willing to pay. This one fit the bill. Pretty decent centering - maybe as nice as I've got in my '52 set.

Nice addition! A well loved and admired card. A lot of my cards looked like that when I was young, but mine were 1959 - 1961.

I've been super busy with pickups since my last post.

Here's the Football highlights - Some huge strides towards my HOF Goal

Also dabbled in some baseball and Basketball and got some GREAT pickups I think. My vintage basketball and baseball were rather weak - so plenty of pickups I could make!

Something a little different to work on for my Yankees:
1960 Nu Card Baseball Scoops (larger cards) & 1961 Nu Card Baseball Scoops (regular size cards). I got some of the 1960 cards when I was young and have always liked it that they told some of the history of the game. Something similar would be nice from one of the current card companies.

for $5 I couldn't resist knocking this off of my wantlist. It's the ultra-rare "completely encased with tape" variation.

and yes, the **** is also encased.

Thanks fellas, i appreciate your kind words. i recommend picking up the "larger" sized slabs on ebay when you can. cheaper then self submitting them

i won this tonight...
i wanted a 7, but for $10/dlvd it's good to be able to scratch it off the needed list
