Hey guys, I've always enjoyed reading this thread but haven't posted here before now. I finally made a little progress on my Mantle collection and figured I'd share. They certainly aren't as nice as many of the cards I see posted here, but I am happy with them. I'm working backwards from 1969, and with these two, I'm back to 1956, including multi-players, all-stars, etc. My goal is to have all psa graded, with good eye appeal. The grades aren't the greatest but I've always wanted a run of Mantles, so I'm enjoying the chase. I have a few raw examples that I will either get graded or replace, and at some point will work on upgrades. Here are the two new ones:

Next up are the 55, 54 and 53 Bowmans (including the Mantle/Berrra/Bauer)....

Massive pickup albeit not baseball. I've been collecting a type set of John L. Sullivan for years and have never seen anything like this before.

The icing on the cake was it was issued 12 blocks away from my house! I'll have to research this store. The building now is in jewelers row
