Is that an 01 at the top of your Ganley? If so, that would be quite the coincidence.

I really like the background on this one:

Nice T206's, plus I really like that Miller Huggins card.
Another Yankee for me today:
Jack Warhop PSA 3 with a MC designation, as just a little lettering shows at the top of the card. It was a great deal at $49.95.

Absolutely fantastic!

so, when 1956 is done, will you tackle '57?

also, what about 1982 & 1985 sets? (in reference to your sig) :)

Nice looking 56's! The Klu card is nice with his doctored sleeves on his shirt to show off his biceps.

I have already made plans to complete all the early to mid 50's (51;53-59)and all of the 60's sets in PSA 7 or higher. I will start the 57' set once the 56' set is completed. This is going to be a very long journey. So far I am really enjoying the ride and I hope that everyone can join with me on this exciting journey through baseball's golden years.

The modern day sets I will eventually get them. I am in no big hurry to get them because there were so massed produced that I don't have to worry about them ever disappearing.

What, no '52 set? :o Your undertaking, in grade 7, is much higher than mine. I've completed 1955 T & B through 1965, though most of my cards are ungraded and in about EX+ shape. I also have completed the '69 set.
I decided to work on older Yankees after completing the Yankees 1951 to current Topps cards.
Best of luck on your endeavors and I'll be watching and enjoying.

A little something different for my Mantle collection, a 1960 Armour coin, PSA 7.
I only wish they would have put it in the holder straight.

wow, I can't believe I haven't checked this thread in 3+ pages. Fantastic pickups, everyone!

I've got my eye on the last T206 I need. I'm a little hesitant because of centering, but I may go after it and upgrade later.

Lots of nice stuff guys! For a forum thats supposed to all about chrome and prospects, there sure is a lot of nice old cardboard.

Knocked a big one off my 60 Topps set.

Nice pick ups everyone! The odd ball Mantle, the prewar pins, the 1960 topps collection and everything in between. I alway enjoy watching fellow collectors collections grow! Keep up the great work! Who says America is in a economic depression. I believe that the economy might recover from the backs of all the baseball card collectors! Haven't you noticed that even with the economic difficulties people still find the cash to buy baseball cards. In my opinion that is comforting to know. WTG everyone and keep up the great work! :D

Here are my latest pickups. Please enjoy.
