We are getting a card show! Finally! (Southern MN)

We are getting our first show! I don't think we have had one in the Redwood Falls area in a long time, if ever. (No, I have nothing to do with the fact that it is here, I just found it randomly).

The problem is it also is in the way of the massive Brooklyn Park show at the Heritage Center.

So it's pretty big news to me, because I live only 5 miles away, and know a lot of people that live near and work at this place.

IF any FCBers are coming (I doubt it), I will probably be there both days depending how the layout is and what is being sold. I imagine since we have a lot of 90's to current collectors around here, that is probably what it is going to be. I might even convince a couple guys to set a table up and I might work one of them... I doubt that part, but we will see!

I'm in Rochester. We get a few but it's usually mostly football.

Knowing the area collectors, there might be some football but it will probably be baseball. I can't imagine any big time dealers coming in since of the size of the show, and because it is competing with the Brooklyn Park Extravaganza...

Marshall used to be a big card town... a total of 3 different shops, and they would have shows there, and in Willmar every so often. I don't think there was ever one here, (we consider Morton "here" because they go to the Redwood schools)

I assume so... I was only in the casino once to get to the Inventors Congress the last year I went too it... Otherwise, for another 11 months, I legally can't be in there.

I checked the website and yes you can play poker.

That casino is actually pretty good for poker. They used to hold the Bar poker state championships there every year(not sure if they still do. I quit bar poker). There are usually pretty good cash games going on there.

ive actually played poker in JAckpot Junction befor. my first year of college my dad had a meeting there so me and my mom tagged along with him during Spring Break, she played slots i played cards, the poker room is similar to some of the rooms i seen/played in vegas.
