52 years ago today, I was here for this incredible milestone in music history. My lake house is 20 minutes away but with the traffic we only got there for Monday.

lol i know where that is. i lived in smallwood, town of bethel. 2 miles from the farm woodstock was held.

Couple from LYNYRD SKYNYRD plays small places -----played in Maiden NC recently ---very few informed about this -- close friend could hear about mile away .
Story goes that ONE local was at Woodstock ----I think really on drug trip only .

i was close lol, slept til saturday. only way to get to anywhere was on my dirt bike. cars just left on 17west. and roads right in the middle blocking everything.
i was just glad to be home.
