The joys of a newer car. I helped my dad change the battery in his 2014 GMC the other day, mainly because he isn't tall enough to reach it without a step ladder, and you have to remove three braces, part of the plastic engine cover, and the splitter terminal assembly for the battery just to get to the battery retention assembly. It's idiocy.Morning all! Mid 40's today. Snow coming in tonight calling for 4-8 inches tomorrow. Could be more, could be less. Weather people don't want to commit to an amount.
Sister in laws car (2013 Escape) wouldn't start after work yesterday. Met my brother to jump start / replace the battery. You have to remove 5 other things just to get to the battery. Had battery checked needed new one. Meeting him over lunch to get the new one put in.
