Average of about $80 per BGS 9.5 Xfrac.
Now - $5 if lucky.

2006 Bowman Matt Leinart Auto RC /199

Bought a $20 Blaster from Target of 06 Bowman. Pulled the Leinart checked the price the day I got it. They were going for around $200 RAW (This was during the Preseason of 2006). Now I'd be lucky to get $30

not sure what these maxed out at. luckily this was packed pulled so I didn't really lose any money. it will always be in my collection because it is THE rookie card of one of my favorite all-time athletes.

again packed pulled so I didn't lose any money but this was the hockey card to have in 1990 but after his numerous concussions he never became the "next Gretzky" as he was supposed to be.

I had a quick phase where I was busting alot of basketball for about a year. I pulled this card and basicly every other rookie from the set, but this one at one time could have gotten me 250 or more if I had let it go. Now I can probably get 10 if that.

Chrome in the middle, but the other two cards could've netted me 80 or so if I would have let them go too:

I had a Chris Shelton Auto from 2004 Absolute Memoribilia. Hes the guy who hit like 7 homeruns in his first 10 games for the tigers one year. When he was hot they got up to $120 but now it would hardly grab a few bucks.

1997 Fleer David Arias-Ortiz rookie card

When I first pulled it it was probably worth nothing, but a couple of years ago it jumped up to $40 and eventually up to $70.

Now? $25.

This used to be the card to have in any sport. Vince Carter was one of the biggest Hobby super stars i have ever seen. Thats why i think it weird when people say that a player in Toronto can never become a big hobby star because Toronto is a "small market". Does nobody remember Vince Carters hobby popularity in the late 90s/2000?

This card was once $3500 :o It can be had now for about $200-$300 in BGS 9.5. I paid about $400 for mine about 4, maybe 5 years ago. I just wanted to own it because of what a huge card it once was (not my pic)

Heres another HUGE card from the Hobby boom that i once owned. Sergei Federov high number french from 90/91. Upper Deck French was huge in 90/91 because it was "rare". Packs would sell for between $20-$30 which was big buck in 1990. I pulled this French Federov at a show in 90 and was offered $500 on the spot. The card was selling for $1500+ at the time. I was just a young-in at the time, so the card meant a lot more than the cash back then. As more UD french hit the market in 91, this card dropped big time. I think i ended up trading it for a Mark Messier RC (BV $200 at the time).

I have absolutely no idea how much this card has depreciated since it is a 1/1, but it has definitely lost some value. At its peak, it was a $3500+ card. Im sure I could still get a pretty penny if I was serious about letting it go, but I dont really have any intention of doing so..

If that's the worst you have ever done then you are in GREAT shape.

I've taken a $500 kick in the ____ on an A-Rod card before.

I remember Matsui used to sell like crazy, the base /1999 booked $120.00 back in 2003. I can only imagine what the Red & Blue were. I forsee these coming down further if the Yankees don't resign him.

I don't recall prices, but I imagine this was up there as well.

I bought a PSA 10 for $65 for the same reasons as you... I remember when it was $3000+, so to have it for such a great price? I couldn't resist.
