What card in your collection has LOST the most value?

I originally paid $138 for an SGC98 1985 Donruss Clemens. As graded cards became hot, it climbed in value (from an early 2000 price guide):

Now it's probably worth about $40-50! :lol:

Most of my Rickie Weeks collection is worth about 1/5 of what i paid for it in 2005 ::facepalm::

If he gets even REMOTELY hot at any point, that **** is GONE.

And my Hernan Iribarren collection is probably full over over-paid-for cards, but I basically have most of his premium cards.

Unfortunately sometimes this happens. Not a lot of heavy duty Brewers collectors who will shell out big money and cause prices to go up. If he was on the Redsox or Yanks his cards would be insane

you would be surprised how much you get for that. There are still ALOT of Barry Bonds collectors out there. Don't count yourself out on that one.

I have a sad story. One time my aunt was having a yard sale. I had about 10-15 900 count boxes of junk that I gave her to sell for whatever she could get. About a year later after I moved, I wondered where my box of Griffey rookies was. After looking through every box I had in the house and garage, I gave up. I gave away a box full of Griffey rookies to a random yard sale without knowing it. In it were approximately 20 Griffey donruss rookies, 20 fleer rookies, 15 topps traded rookies, 10 score traded rookies, 20 bowman, a fleer glossy, a bowman tiffany and 7 UD rookies. Dammit.

For a card that I actually got with the intention of reselling, it's a Delmon Young 03 SPX auto jersey. A big delmon collector told me to take no less than $500 for it, and I'm still waiting. I pulled it from 4 boxes of UD finite...think I paid $250 total.
