What do you consider to be THE 80s card to own?

Just one card. A combination of popularity, scarcity, and price. It could be mainstream, oddball, an error card, you name it. Just no minor league or graded stuff. I'm sure some here will pick the UD Griffey card, even though there's a lot out there. The 1982 Topps Tr. Ripken would also be a candidate.

All good choices so far......I really happen to love the 80 Rickey Henderson. Seems its tough to find many now but he is one of the best ever. Back in the day it was as highly wanted as any card when I was a kid.

As someone who collected for the majority of the decade I can tell you that this is the card of the 1980's. There were times when the 87 Fleer Will Clark, the 86 Canseco, the 85 McGwire, the Pucketts and Clemens, and the 89 Griffey were the "it" cards of the moment... but this is the card of the 1980's and is responsible for keeping the hobby alive.
