He is going to be playing behind Kevin Smith as more of a spell back im assuming. I think he is going to have a similar year as Jonathan Stewart had his RC year and Kevin Smith is going to break out like Deangelo did in 08. IMO

Didn't k.smith suffer a pretty bad injury?

Anyways, for some reason he reminds me of Reggie Bush. So that's my guess

I expect a BIG year. He will be another Chris Johnson, Kevin Smith's knee is messed up, he will not be back until later int he year.

Best was a 1st rd pick, the team traded up to get him. They will feature him as much as possible.

Tons of potential but I'm concerned that he's one good shot to the head from being done.

To beat out Kevin Smith and win the starting job and give us a ground game that has been lacking for years. I would be happy with 750 yards plus with at least 8 TD's

Hey may beat out Smith between the 20s, but he'll have a hard time taking over carries inside of the 20s. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions really started screening the hell out of teams and Best would excel in that role.

I think he'll provide more value than stats to the lions..

but as someone else said, that injury he had last year? two years ago? was brutal. I'd be very worried about his health considering his history and size. 12-15 touches will be pushing it.

And. I can guarantee you that CJ is injured for at least 4 games this coming season.

Since the NFL is being very careful w/ concussions a player with a history of head injuries could have serious problems staying healthy, especially at RB where they are hit on nearly every play.

Based on what? Please do explain.

As for Jahvid BEAST, I see him having a fantastic rookie season. If Stafford ups his game even just a LITTLE bit, he won't have to worry about having 8 men in the box, meaning he can take advantage of his ridiculous speed. He reminds me a lot of Felix Jones, but with more talent.

I just hope he avoids the injury bug, which Jones has not been able to do.

Best could maintain his current ebay numbers even without scoring another TD this year.
